Silverstone Museum Project

Would you like an opportunity to contribute to the Silverstone Virtual Museum? The aim of this project is to present pupils with a series of challenges to select, research and design a contribution to the Silverstone Virtual Museum. Students tour of the world-famous racing circuit to inspire ideas for their projects followed by a series of opportunities to conduct both primary and secondary research. Their findings can then be presented in a number of forms including film, PowerPoint presentations, podcasts and comics to be showcased in the online museum.
Learning Outcomes: investigate how an aspect of Silverstone has changed over a long period of time, or how locality was affected by significant national or local event or development; how to prepare and interpret information using ICT; working with others to explore a variety of information sources and ICT tools; writing to inform and explain, focusing on the subject matter and how to convey it in sufficient detail for the reader.
Cost: 20 pupils £400 per day
