Students tour Silverstone Circuit, gaining access to places such as the podium, pit lane and garages, race control, and the workshop where all Silverstone’s experience cars are stored. They can even sit in a F1 car! Whilst exploring the circuit pupils are required to interpret the information given to answer a quiz and also use digital cameras to capture their experience. On return to the centre students use their photographs to create a comic on Apple MacBooks using Comic Life software about their day.

Learning Outcomes: gather and interpret information about Silverstone Circuit; use photographic methods to capture their experience; select relevant photographs to create a comic; select and relay information gathered in the form of a comic; and most importantly have fun!
