As one of the key programmes delivered at Silverstone Study Centre, the ‘Race to Success’ programme uses the medium and environment of sport to raise pupil standards in literacy, numeracy and ICT as well as building self-esteem and self-confidence.

Race to Success provides selected 9 to 14 year-old pupils with access to an out-of-school-hours study experience that not only builds confidence and motivation, but also positively dovetails with personalised learning goals set in school. A menu of modules is available to ensure school needs are met.

Learning Outcomes: make effective use of ICT equipment to design multimedia work; work together in pairs and teams to complete tasks; identify different styles of learning; form, state and justify opinions on a range of topics.

Cost: 15 pupils £2000 (20 hours over a term)
