Year eight pupils from Magdalen College School have toured Silverstone Circuit today. Despite the rain, they managed to visit race control, the podium, and the workshop where all the super cars are stored ready for experience days.

Today the new Silverstone Study Centre Manager, Trevor Wadham, commences his new role. Welcome to the Northamptonshire Study Centre team Trevor. He’s got a hectic first month ahead so will need lots of luck and plenty of energy!
Farewell Peter
As most of you know Peter is leaving the Study Centre this month to take up a new post as Harnessing Technologies Manager for Schools within NCC. So just wanted to wish him lots of luck in his new role and to say we’ll all miss him!

Well as you may have guessed, it’s snowing over at Silverstone today. It’s rather dangerous on the roads so the centre has been closed and meetings cancelled. Directions to the Study Centre
As you approach Silverstone Circuit from the A43 you need to enter by turning left at the first roundabout (Gate 5). Then left at the next roundabout and again at the second. The Study Centre is situated next to the Visitor Centre (Costa Coffee) with parking outside. Please see the map below for more details.
